Creekside Robotics

Creekside Robotics is a multi-team robotics club supporting FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) teams. All team members began at Reedy Creek Magnet Middle School. Our high school and community based teams were created to allow the former middle school members to continue playing in high school.

Team members competing in FTC learn valuable skills such as sportsmanship, engineering design principles, mechatronics, programming, project planning, report writing, and public speaking. We also instruct and educate new parent volunteer coaches.

We currently have four teams across three schools. The four teams are comprised of 26 students, ages 12-18. Competition season begins in early September and lasts through March. Our teams participate both in the formal season and use off season time to explore additional engineering challenges such as machine vision, new hardware designs, and programming environments.
